However, installing mods doesn't always go perfectly. If you've downloaded a mod and it isn't appearing in your garage, don't panic. Follow this troubleshooting guide to fix the most common issues.

Issue 1: The Mod File is in the Wrong Folder

This is the #1 reason mods fail to load. BUSSID only scans a very specific folder on your device for mod files.

• The Fix: Open your device's File Manager. Locate your downloaded mod file and move it to: Internal Storage > BUSSID > Mods.
• If the Mods folder doesn't exist inside the BUSSID directory, create it manually (make sure the 'M' is capitalized).

Issue 2: The File is Still Zipped (.ZIP or .RAR)

BUSSID cannot read compressed archives. It can only read files with the .bussidmod or .bussidvehicle extensions.

• The Fix: If you downloaded a .ZIP or .RAR file, you must extract it first. Use an app like ZArchiver (available on the Play Store). Extract the archive, take the .bussidmod file from inside, and move it to the BUSSID > Mods folder.

Issue 3: Game Version Incompatibility

BUSSID receives major updates (like the shift to v4.0+), which sometimes change the physics and rendering engine. Mods built for v3.7 may not work on v4.5.
